Season 2. Finally.

I have waited, and waited (and waited) for the start of the second season of what is possibly the funniest web series ever.
I can’t remember exactly how I discovered Awkward Black Girl, but I know that Jay, Nina and Baby Voice Darius are just hilarious. It’s pure genius how Issa Rae and her people have managed to take everyday awkwardness and make it funny. Each episode has me cringing and gasping and shaking my head and exclaiming “eish!” a lot, because it’s all so damn true!

Jay speaks to my life, and this is why I am so excited to see her back on my screen tomorrow night.

She’s my hero. Especially when she “introduces” Pharrell’s I Am Other premium YouTube channel (on which the season 2 pilot episode will premiere)  at 1:32. Wow.
